Carta Total Compensation expanded it's product offering internationally, providing customers with access to salary & equity benchmarks for 45 countries, enabling companies to effectively hire and retain international talent.
Problem
Carta Total Comp only provided compensation benchmarks for the United States, as the majority of Carta's customers are US-based VC-backed companies. Despite this focus, many US-based customers had international employees and needed a way to benchmark their compensation.
Contributions
As Lead Product Manager, I led the initiative to internationalize the product, overseeing customer discovery and shaping the product strategy & roadmap. I collaborated closely with design & engineering to ensure a seamless user experience, worked with the machine learning team to guarantee benchmark accuracy, and partnered with G2M teams to drive customer adoption.
Outcome
Successfully launched an MVP within 3-months, providing benchmarks for 45 countries & 30 currencies, supporting 20% of customers.
